Linked Data
Linked data is structured data1 that is interlinked with other data. With linked data structured information can be combined from different sources such as from different websites.
Linked data was proposed as a concept by Tim Berners-Lee. He suggested that all links between data should be URLs and be accessible via the HTTP protocols.
Linked data becomes more useful if a controlled vocabulary is used to express properties of the data.
